Biography
Dr. Ignacie Tumushime has an extensive university teaching experience both in Rwanda (University of Rwanda and University of Agriculture and Technology of Kibungo, UNATEK-Rwanda) and US (TAMU). She also has an extensive working experience in agricultural and rural development sectors including European Union and World Bank-funded projects in Rwanda. She authored and co-authored a couple of scientific articles published in different high-ranking soil science and forestry journals. She also has authored and co-authored several technical reports that have been presented to forest industry groups in the US and helped them to increase return on investment in soil fertilization and weed control. Dr. Tumushime is a recipient of the Schlumburger Foundation Faculty for the Future Fellowship.
