Biography

Keith Cole leads new business development, which has included programming from the U.S. Agency for International Development, U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Department of Education, and U.S. Department of State, Asian Development Bank, United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, foreign governments, foundations, and private sector partners. He has more than 20 years of experience working in international development, primarily focused on agriculture and food security. Previously he served as Borlaug’s Assistant Director for Administration and Finance providing overall administrative oversight, financial management, project coordination and compliance, and logistical support for an international contracts, cooperative agreements, and grants portfolio that between 2002 and 2012 exceeded $80M. He currently serves on the board of Empower Dreams which serves clients globally. Previous board roles include serving on the local food bank board as well as advising the Rocky Mountain Survivors Center board in Denver, CO. He currently is Texas A&M AgriLife’s liaison for its United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization funded programs. He has traveled and worked in almost 60 countries.
