Biography

Leda Amrullah is an experienced professional with a background in governmental and non-governmental sectors, specializing in post-conflict environments and development work. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Operations Management from the American University of Afghanistan and master’s degrees in International Relations from Brunel University London (Chevening Scholar) and International Affairs from Texas A&M University (Fulbright Scholar).

Currently, Leda serves as a Program Manager at the Borlaug Institute for International Agriculture and Development. She coordinates efforts with national and international partners to ensure the project’s success. Focused on empowering Afghan women, YWL equips them with the skills needed to contribute to their communities despite ongoing adversity. Leda’s work emphasizes the importance of education, financial independence, and empowerment as key drivers of peace and security. Her commitment to these principles aligns with her advocacy for women’s roles in peacebuilding and development.
