Partners: NCBA, JAD (from DR), CRI (Cooperative Resources International) & the government of the Dominican Republic.
Objectives: The objective of the project is to improve the beef and dairy value chains in Dominican Republic for domestic and international markets. It also has the goal of obtaining FSIS equivalence, so DR can export beef to the U.S.
Our Role: Texas A&M University will work on capacity building to promote an improve policy, regulatory framework, and as well train on beef and dairy quality and food safety standards for export to the U.S.
