Programs in Europe

Texas A&M University has long collaborated with peer institutions in Europe across a variety of research and outreach programs focused on agricultural development.  Texas enjoys a long history of agriculture trade and cooperation across Europe.  The state of Texas shares a special relationship with France.  As the Republic of Texas, France was the first to recognize the sovereign nation of Texas.

The Borlaug Institute | Europe operations are based outside of Marseilles, France.  Not only tasked with partner coordination in the region, Borlaug leadership here directs certain programs in Africa.

The Global Coffee Quality Research Initiative, though global in scope, is also led from Borlaug Institute | Europe.
