Photo Contest for International Education Week

Every year, Texas A&M University celebrates International Education Week sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and the Department of Education. The Borlaug Institute’s Photo Contest for International Education Week was created to encourage student participation in study abroad programs.

Why & How to Participate

Students, faculty and staff: send us your pictures! Photos submitted for the contest are displayed every year at the Brazos Valley Worldfest and on-campus at the Memorial Student Center (this year, at Blocker). Students and the general public vote on their favorite photos and the winners receive prizes courtesy of the Borlaug Institute.

The deadline for the 2011 Photo Contest is November 4th. Participants can enter up to five photos. The photographs must beĀ 8 x 10 to 11 x 14 and matted with no more than a 2″ border on the matting. Photographs must be submitted to Cathryn Clement‘s office along with an electronic version and 2 copies of the entry form which can be downloaded here.

  1. I’ve done a good deal of travel photography and consider the 2010 grand prize winner, the photo of Salam by Chris Koym, gorgeous – Good job!
