The Texas A&M University System recently signed an agreement with the Panama National Poultry association (ANAVIP) to collaborate on food safety programs for the poultry sector, focusing on HACCP. Under this agreement, Texas A&M's Borlaug Institute for International Agriculture will provide technical assistance and training, and promote new product development and agribusinesses related to the poultry industry.
